Seattle-based Jones Soda Co. released a new limited-edition premium soda flavor: Peanut Butter and Jelly (PB&J). Offering a Jones Soda spin on the classic sandwich timed for the back-to-school season, Jones’ PB&J Soda is formulated as a fun flavor that consumers would be excited to drink, the company says. To appeal to consumers who cannot eat peanut butter because of peanut allergies, the soda offers the taste of a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich without any actual peanuts or ingredients that have come into contact with peanut materials, it says.
